In the heart of the Red Island, there is a vision of hospitality that goes beyond simply welcoming travellers. For more than 30 years, the RAGON family has been building sincere, human and deeply rooted hospitality in Ambalavao, in the Haute Matsiatra region. With Hôtel Aux Bougainvillées, the family did not simply create a place to stay for travellers exploring the RN7 and southern Madagascar. They created a home, a place of encounter and a bridge between cultures, where every guest could be welcomed as a friend.

Today, this legacy takes on a new dimension with The Anja Reserve Lodge & Restaurant, at the entrance of Anja Community Reserve, near Ambalavao. This project embodies the model RAGON aims to develop in Madagascar: high-end hospitality with a social purpose, economic sustainability and a deep connection to the preservation of the places that surround it.

We believe that sustainable tourism cannot exist without quality, high standards and the creation of real value. In fragile destinations, hospitality must help train teams, value local work, support communities and contribute to the protection of landscapes, culture and biodiversity.
